NPFA is coated on the TFT electrodes of the display panel (LCD) to reduce the insulation and parasitic capacitance between pixel electrodes and wirings. It is a high-performance negative photosensitive insulating protective film material designed to maximize the pixel aperture ratio. With excellent sensitivity and high-resolution patterning characteristics, it precisely controls the formation of contact holes and effectively prevents signal delay and crosstalk. Moreover, it offers excellent chemical resistance to etchants and cleaning solutions in subsequent processes and reliable adhesion to metal wiring layers, suppressing peeling and cracking under high-temperature heat treatment and post-process environments. After the high-temperature baking step, it maintains high visible light transmittance and is free of sulfides, helping to improve panel brightness and reduce power consumption. Widely used in high-resolution LCDs and TFT processes of small/medium and large displays.
